Recently, 7 companies announced dividend increases. Note that no dividend cuts or suspensions were announced during this period. This is the first part of the week’s notifications.
The table below summarises the dividend change announcements. The table shows the current dividend, the new dividend and the percentage increase (%). Dividends are shown on an annual basis and in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Yield is the new dividend yield of the most recent price, and Years is the years of consecutive dividend increases.
TE Connectivity Ltd. (TEL)
TE Connectivity Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells connectivity and sensor solutions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia–Pacific, and the Americas. The company operates through three segments: Transportation Solutions, Industrial Solutions, and Communications Solutions. TE Connectivity Ltd. was incorporated in 2000 and is based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
On March 15, TEL announced a quarterly dividend of $0.59.
This is a 5.4% increase from the prior dividend of $0.59.

CareTrust REIT, Inc. (CTRE)
CareTrust REIT, Inc. is a self-administered, publicly-traded real estate investment trust engaged in the ownership, acquisition, development and leasing of skilled nursing, seniors housing and other healthcare-related properties. On March 20, CTRE announced a quarterly dividend of $0.28.
This is a 1.8% increase from the prior dividend of $0.275.

Southern Michigan Bancorp, Inc. (SOMC)

This is a 3.8% increase from the prior dividend of $0.78.
